Steve Wene represents municipal and private party clients in water rights litigation and has successfully argued on such matters before the Supreme Court of Arizona. He has represented numerous land management agencies of the State of Arizona regarding water and land uses and acquisitions.
Steve Wene, Jason Moyes, and Jeff Zimmerman represent cities, towns, and special improvement districts concerning financing of development projects and infrastructure as well as compliance with governing laws. Mr. Wene has assisted our clients in forming numerous districts to address pollutant and water supply issues.
Steve Wene represents several private water utility companies in proceedings at the Arizona Corporation Commission, Arizona Department of Water Resources, and Arizona Department of Environmental Quality. He represents public sector utilities concerning regulatory compliance and legislative matters.
Steve Wene and Jeff Zimmerman have experience with water quality issues, including pollutant releases and treatment. They are also well versed in issues involving site pollution, remediation, permitting, and negotiating with the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality regarding compliance concerns and violations.
