Moyes Sellers & Hendricks Ltd. has an extensive real estate law practice which encompasses all elements of real estate transactions, from acquisition to disposition of property. We have substantial experience in real estate development law, purchases, and sales.
Our clients are diverse and include real estate developers of master-planned communities, office buildings, and other substantive projects as well as banks and other lenders, contractors, brokers, and investors. We assist clients in all areas from start-up to completion. We are instrumental in the initial land sale; recording property covenants and restrictions; public reports for lot sales; utility planning, including formation of regulated public service corporations or utility special taxing districts; certificates of convenience and necessity; and line extensions.
Our representation has also included state and local governmental entities in connection with economic development matters and public-private projects. We advise governmental entities regarding redevelopment strategies, property tax avoidance options, streamlined procurement alternatives and methods for limiting the impact that governmental restrictions can have on development projects while still protecting the governmental entity.
One of our shareholders, Keith Hendricks, has held certification as a Certified Real Estate Specialist through the Arizona State Bar of Legal Specialization since 1998.
Jeff Zimmerman has a strong emphasis on commercial real estate. A substantial amount of his real estate work centers around subdivision development.
